Thinking about Aircraft Dispatcher Schools in Maryland?

You’ll like getting more education in Maryland if you’re looking for a state with different types of scenery. This state has flat land, hills, forests, lakes, beaches, farmland and some mountains. The high temperatures in the summer here are between 85 and 90. The low temperatures in the winter range from 20 to 25. There is some snow in the winter.

Baltimore is the largest city in the state with over 620,000 residents. The next largest city in the state is Columbia with about 99,000 residents. It’s about 17 miles from Baltimore.

You’ll find plenty of things to do in Baltimore while you’re attending training there. There are things to do at the city’s waterfront and historic attractions to see. There are cities near Baltimore with a lot to see and do.
You can see the Baltimore Inner Harbor and downtown Baltimore from the observation deck on the 27th floor of the Baltimore World Trade Center. There’s a lot to do at the Inner Harbor. You can shop and dine at Harborplace & The Gallery. A cruise will give you a chance to eat lunch or dinner while you’re enjoying a spectacular view of the harbor. There’s a planetarium at the Maryland Science Center. You can see a variety of creatures at the National Aquarium including sharks and dolphins. A water taxi will take you around the Inner Harbor.

Museums in Baltimore have a variety of exhibits. The Walters Art Museum has items from ancient Egypt, medieval Europe, 19th century America and many other places. You can learn about the history of firefighting at the Fire Museum of Maryland. Locomotives and artifacts related to railroads are on display at the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum. The Mount Clare Museum House was built in 1760. Paintings and furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries are displayed here.

There are a number of parks and gardens in Baltimore. The Cylburn Arboretum has a rose garden, a vegetable garden and a number of other gardens. There are a lot of trees and walking trails on the property. Greenhouses at the Baltimore Conservatory and Botanic Gardens have plants from the desert, the tropics and the Mediterranean.

A 40 minute drive from Baltimore will take you to Annapolis. You’ll find some interesting things to see here. You can take a tour of the United States Naval Academy. The Maryland State House was built in 1772 and is open for tours.

Washington, D.C. is only 39 miles from Baltimore. Museums in this city include the American History Museum, the Air and Space Museum and National Museum of Natural History. You can see the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial.
