The Yellowstone County Museum has a chuck wagon that is 100 years old and a Native American collection. The Moss Mansion Historic House Museum was built in 1903. You can attend performances by the Billings Symphony Orchestra at the Alberta Bair Theater for the Performing Arts. You can see other musical performances and plays at this theater.

There are plenty of things to do outside in Billings all year round. There are wolves, red pandas and other animals at ZooMontana. You値l be able to play golf at several places in the city. The Billings Rimrocks above the city have places where you can go rock climbing. DanWalt Gardens has tulips, daffodils and irises blooming in the spring. There are places for kayaking and paddling on the Yellowstone River. You値l be able to camp overnight at several campgrounds within 20 miles of Billings.

You値l find a number of things to do at parks in the Billings area. You can watch prairie dogs at the Greycliff Prairie Dog Town State Park. Riverfront Park has jogging trails and a swimming pool. You can see rock paintings in Pictograph Cave Park. There are places for boating, fishing and swimming at Cooney Reservoir State Park. The park has 75 campsites and there are places for RV camping.

A two hour drive from Billings will take you to one of the entrances to Yellowstone National Park near Bozeman. Over 500,000 people use this entrance to the park annually. There are several places for downhill skiing near Bozeman. You can camp in several places in the Gallatin National Forest in the Bozeman area.
