Whether you are graduating high school, exiting the military or simply looking for a better career, aviation maintenance offers an opportunity like none other.

Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) - Kansas City is located in the mid-town area of Kansas City, Missouri. This central location offers easy access to students living anywhere in the greater Kansas City area, on either side of the Missouri – Kansas state line. The Kansas City area has a rich history of aviation businesses and still offers a variety of aviation employment opportunities. Whether it is at the TWA/American Overhaul base, line maintenance facilities, general aviation or one of the many aviation manufacturing/repair facilities in the area, there is probably a job opportunity waiting.

AIM-Kansas City occupies a large facility; recently remodeled to meet the specific needs of our aviation program. Comfortable classrooms, a well stocked technical library, both indoor and outdoor student lounge areas, and plenty of lab/shop space is available to ensure a good learning environment. While not on an airport, the facility has a large fenced-in tie-down and run-up area where the school’s aircraft are kept.
