Cirrus SR22 - Platinum Aviation

Training now offered to new Cirrus CFIIs at Platinum Aviation

Platinum Aviation, with three locations in Florida, just announced it will provide Cirrus Advanced IFR transition training to CFII candidates with no prior Cirrus time.

According to Platinum Aviation’s vice president Kerry Hackney, “Platinum is now considering high time instructors that have no Cirrus time. If a CFII candidate is willing to invest in themselves and do the Cirrus Advanced IFR transition, I will work with them at my expense to make them a Cirrus instructor.”

According to the company, Platinum offers CFIIs much higher than normal pay, fully equipped air-conditioned aircraft, luxury training facilities, and a client base of successful business people. Platinum’s instructors often make long cross countries requiring some overnight trips. Hours are flexible.

Platinum Aviation is currently hiring CFIIs with a minimum of 1500 hours total time and 1000 hours instructing. Successful candidates must have a clean FAA record, basic computer skills, and a professional appearance.

To apply, please see Platinum Aviation’s CFII Jobs page on our site. Good luck!
