CNBC interviewed Herb Kelleher recently, and you can see what he said on Thursday night at 8 p.m. It repeats at 9 p.m., 11 p.m. and midnight.
The show is called CNBC Titans. Kelleher, one of Southwest Airlines’ co-founders, gave up his chairman’s job in 2008, but still hangs around at Southwest and would be considered titanic.
Why an interview, you might ask? Southwest just marked its 40th anniversary of flying on June 18, and it’s a good time to sit down with Herb.
David Koenig of the Associated Press recently did a really nice Q&A with Kelleher in connection with the 40th anniversary. As I told David, interviewing Kelleher is like going to a party.
