How Much Do Unmanned Aircraft Systems Pilots Make?By Kyle Garrett
At the time of this writing, Indeed.com listed UAV pilot salaries between $30,000 and $150,000 with most of the salaries between $30,000 and $70,000. Your salary will depend on your experience level, the type of company you work for, the type of aircraft flown, and your seniority with the company. UAV sensor operators, as a general rule, make less than UAV pilots. But keep in mind that sensor operators are not held to the same high standards of education and training.
