Columbus is the largest city in the state. The average temperature here in the winter is 36 degrees and snowfall is about 28 inches. You’ll find plenty of things to do in Columbus all year round while you’re obtaining further education here.

You can see a variety of exhibits at museums and other institutions in Columbus. The Center of Science and Industry (COSI) has exhibits on the oceans and space. You can see minerals and fossils from different parts of the world at the Orton Geological Museum. The Santa Maria is a replica of the flagship used by Christopher Columbus.

There are outdoor attractions in Columbus for you to visit. You’ll see over 11,500 roses at the Park of Roses. You can walk on a labyrinth at the Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens.

Cleveland is the second largest city in the state. It is north of Columbus on the edge of Lake Erie. You’ll enjoy going to school here in the winter if you like snow. You can expect a snowfall of about 56 inches and a high temperature in the winter of about 27 degrees.

Taking a trolley tour in Cleveland is a good way to learn a few things about the city. You can take a tour with Trolley Tours that travels to the North Coast Harbor, through downtown and along Lake Erie. You’ll have an idea of the attractions Cleveland has to offer after you finish the tour.

One of the things to see in the North Coast Harbor area of the city is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Janis Joplin and U2 are a few of the singers you can learn about in the exhibits here.

There are more things to see all over the Cleveland area. You can see animals and plants at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park Beach has places for sailing and boating. There is a marine museum next to the park.

The state’s third largest city is Cincinnati in the southwest corner of the state. The annual snowfall here is about 24 inches. The high temperature in the winter is around 31 degrees. You’ll be able to skate on an outdoor ice rink in the middle of downtown Cleveland during the winter.

You can take a riverboat cruise on the Ohio River during the warmer months of the year. The Coco Key Water Resort is an indoor water park. The temperature in the park is 84 degrees all year round. You’ll be able to see the stars at night through a telescope at the Cincinnati Observatory.
