You’ll have cold winters and snow if you decide to attend Flight Schools in North Dakota. The average range for winter temperatures in this state is between 4 degrees and 15 degrees. Winter temperatures may drop below zero. The snowfall here is about 40 inches in the winter. Summer temperatures range from a low of about 58 degrees to a high of about 84 degrees.

The scenery in the state includes farms, lakes, hills and some mountains.

Fargo is the largest city in the state. You’ll find plenty to do if you go to school here. You can visit Fargo’s indoor attractions when you think it’s too cold to engage in outdoor activities. There are museums, stores and theaters where you can find things to see and do.

The Fargo Air Museum displays a variety of aircraft. The Plains Art Museum has exhibitions of art from the 20th and 21st centuries. There are several department stores and a number of smaller stores at the West Acres Shopping Center. You can see movies, concerts and plays at the Fargo Theatre.

Fargo has some outdoor winter activities that you might like if you don’t think it’s too cold outside. You can go cross country skiing and sledding at Edgewood Chalet. The clubhouse here has a snack bar and a fireplace where you’ll be able to warm up if you get too cold.

Fargo has plenty of outdoor attractions that you’ll enjoy during the warmer months. There are historic buildings and museums in the village of Bonanzaville. The Red River Zoo has red pandas, wolves and other animals.

The second largest city in North Dakota is Bismarck. It is 200 miles west of Fargo. You won’t have to travel very far if you want to go skiing while you’re in Bismarck. The Huff Hills Ski Area is only six miles from Bismarck. You can ride mountain bikes at Huff Hills during the summer.

Bismarck has some other activities that you’ll enjoy during the warm weather. You can see over 600 animals at the Dakota Zoo. More than 100,000 people come to the zoo every year. You’ll be able to walk near a creek along the Hay Creek trail. You can fish and swim at McDowell Dam. General Sibley Park has places to camp. The Lewis & Clark Riverboat will take you for a cruise on the Missouri River. The river has places where you can go swimming, boating and fishing. The Raging Rivers Water Park is six miles away from Bismarck in the town of Mandan.

Bismarck has a number of places indoors where you can spend your time during the winter. The North Dakota Heritage Center has displays on the state’s history. There are concerts at the Belle Mehus Auditorium. You can watch basketball games at the Bismarck Civic Center.
