Considering Helicopter Training in Montana?

You値l have fun attending Helicopter Training in Montana if you like wide open spaces and don稚 mind snow. Some areas in Montana can get up to 56 inches of snow in the winter months. There could be a few inches of snow in October and up to eight inches of snow in April. Temperatures during the winter may be as low as 14 degrees. High temperatures in the winter might not get over 30 degrees. Temperatures during the summer can get up to 86 degrees.

Billings is the largest city in Montana with a population of over 100,000. You can visit several museums here that have a variety of exhibits. Some of the museums in this city are the Yellowstone Art Museum, the Museum of Women痴 History and the Legacy Doll Museum. The Yellowstone County Museum has a chuck wagon that is 100 years old and a Native American collection. The Moss Mansion Historic House Museum was built in 1903. The Western Heritage Center has exhibits relating to the history of the area and the people who lived there.

You can attend performances by the Billings Symphony Orchestra at the Alberta Bair Theater for the Performing Arts. You can see other musical performances and plays at this theater.

You値l find several places to shop in Billings. The Rimrock Mall has two department stores and some smaller stores. Shops in downtown Billings have antiques, books, clothing and other items.

There are plenty of things to do outside in Billings all year round. There are wolves, red pandas and other animals at ZooMontana. You値l be able to play golf at several places in the city. The Billings Rimrocks above the city have places where you can go rock climbing. DanWalt Gardens has tulips, daffodils and irises blooming in the spring. There are places for kayaking and paddling on the Yellowstone River. You値l be able to camp overnight at several campgrounds within 20 miles of Billings.

You値l find a number of things to do at parks in the Billings area. You can watch prairie dogs at the Greycliff Prairie Dog Town State Park. Riverfront Park has jogging trails and a swimming pool. You can see rock paintings in Pictograph Cave Park. There are places for boating, fishing and swimming at Cooney Reservoir State Park. The park has 75 campsites and there are places for RV camping.

A two hour drive from Billings will take you to one of the entrances to Yellowstone National Park near Bozeman. Over 500,000 people use this entrance to the park annually. Some of the things you値l see in the park are geysers, waterfalls and wildlife. You値l find lakes, rivers and hiking trails here.

There are several places for downhill skiing near Bozeman. You can camp in several places in the Gallatin National Forest in the Bozeman area.
