Fort Williams Park is adjacent to the museum. There are places for hiking in the park. You’ll be able to go cross country skiing here in the winter.

You can see exhibits on textile making, shoe making and brick making. The Bates College Museum of Art has artwork by the students at the college. You can take a day trip from Lewiston to York. There are places for harbor cruises and deep sea fishing at York Harbor. The largest zoo in the state is in York.
