Earn your FAA A320 Type Rating at Aerosim Training Solutions
Training is our core competency! With so many choices in type rating training, we just wanted you to know that. Our program has been built from the ground up by experts in flight training with a single mission: to provide the best FAA type rating training in the world. Please note we do not currently offer DGCA or JAA type rating training. You must hold at least an FAA commercial pilot certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings to attend our training.
We leverage technology in all phases of our training program. Our distance learning courseware is a simulation-based learning experience built around the Aerosim Virtual Flight Deck™. This method delivers an immediate link from theory to practice right from the start of training. Upon arrival at the training center, you will begin utilizing the Aerosim Virtual Procedure Trainer™ within the ground and flight training segments of training.
Our compressed training footprint takes NO Shortcuts! Our focus is on creating a more meaningful learning experience in the most cost effective manner achieving a greater rate of success for Cadets. The course has been evaluated in-depth by the FAA to ensure a quality training experience.
How do we accomplish this? We employ only the best in the business. Our team has extensive airline experience, training management experience and curriculum development expertise. Combined with a dedication to student advocacy and support, we know you will be confident in our ability to deliver a quality education.
There are many features of the Aerosim training experience that soar far above the others.
Aerosim offers A320 Type Rating for both Initial Qualification and Recurrent scenarios. In addition we have programs for A320 Recency of Experience and a High Altitude Endorsement.
Our Initial Qualification program is designed to meet the needs of each individual and therefore offers three different tracks based on qualifications and experience upon entry into the program. We are committed to the success of every pilot coming through our program and offer extended support through an on-call instructor to answer a student's questions.
The course begins with a 40 hour distance learning course before starting the 12 day on-site training footprint. Extensive integration of simulation into your training experience ensures that you have the opportunity to engage in highly relevant LOFT-type training scenarios that translate directly into day to day line operations. The curriculum is modern, thorough and has been reviewed in-depth and received full approval by the FAA.
