Land an airline or aviation career today An Airline Dispatcher is an individual who holds a valid FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certificate, and is employed by an airline. Dispatchers coordinate all functions of the airlines to keep flight operations running safely and smoothly. Airline dispatchers, in joint agreement with the Airline Captain, are responsible for fight planning,route selection, fuel load requirements, aircraft legality, and complying with U.S. Federal Aviation regulations. The following topics will be covered in the Dispatcher Course. 1) Aviation Weather - TAF, METAR, Weather Theory 2) B737 NG Aircraft Systems 3) B737 NG Weight & Balance / Take-off Performance / Runway Analysis 4) Domestic & Global Navigation Systems 5) Advanced Flight Planning 6) Jet Route Structure & Victor Airways 7) NOTAM's & PIRIPS 8) IFR High Altitude En-Route Charts 9) Instrument Approach Plates 10) ILS Cat I, II, III Landing Mininmums 11) U.S. Air Traffic Control System / Airspace 12) Airlines Operational Control Concepts 13) Practical Airline Dispatch Techniques 14) Federal Aviation Regulations Part 121 15) Airline Communications System 16) Captain / Airline Dispatcher Joint Responsibilities Aircraft Dispatcher Course Aviation Education provides all training/study materials for the Aircraft Dispatcher course. All Testing and practical examinations are conducted by FAA approved instructors and examiners. Aircraft Dispatcher Course - 200 Hour instruction - All study/testing material - Classroom material - Test Preparation - Oral & Practical examination Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 6:00am-10:30pm. Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm. Classes are 10 weeks in duration. |
