![]() Welcome to Baker Aircraft- Mountain and Remote Airfield Training Offered Baker Aircraft provides flight training in our aircraft or yours. Rotor-wing training is offered in our Schweizer 300C helicopter. Baker Aircraft is offering a helicopter flight school with an accelerated 2 week private pilot training program at the Baker City Airport, located in the valley between the Elkhorn and Eagle Cap Mountains in Eastern Oregon. We provide initial training, instrument and commercial training, biennial flight reviews (BFR) and IFR currency. If you are already a pilot and are interested in expanding your knowledge, kicking the rust off, gaining currency or adding an additional rating, give us a call and we’ll review our programs with you. We’ve found that many fixed-wing pilots desire to move forward with a rotary-wing rating. We’ll help move you into a helicopter quickly! Make your aviation dreams come true If you have always dreamed of becoming a pilot and flying a helicopter, then lets talk. It is never too late to start. Begin by requesting more information. Once you visit us we’ll sit down and discuss our pilot program, review the requirements and costs and then we’ll go fly. You’ll sit in the pilot’s left seat and our instructor will give you 100% attention as he helps you takeoff! You’ll be able to control the aircraft in level flight with the instructor following through with you on the dual controls. Experience the wonderful feeling of being airborne, above the traffic and hustle of the city, enjoy the beautiful views that you’ve never seen before from the ground. It is the ultimate freedom! College Credit Available! Baker Aircraft offers college credentials for students seeking an exciting opportunity to pursue an academic degree through our partnership with Utah Valley State College. This alliance provides the opportunity to earn both an Associate’s and a Bachelor’s degree in aviation online in conjunction with helicopter pilot training with Baker Aircraft. Reasonable Rates and Professional Equipment Get your Instrument rating training with the latest GPS technology utilizing our Garmin 530 and HSI! If you like what you’ve seen, then there is more.
