![]() Become a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Broward Community College Maintenance technicians are responsible for keeping the nation's airplanes flying, and they are among the best paid jobs in the industry. BCC’s aviation maintenance technology program gives the student the confidence to become a highly qualified technician in the competitive marketplace of aviation maintenance, and as a graduate from BCC’s certificated Airframe and Powerplant, the student will be qualified for any entry-level position. Graduates will have a thorough working knowledge of all basic structural design and system functions of aircraft. From there, the sky’s the limit. Certificates and Degrees available at Broward Community College Aviation Institute CERTIFICATES • FAA Airframe Technician Certificate • FAA Powerplant Technician Certificate • FCC Avionics Certificate DEGREES • AAS College degree. After completing the A & P license, students can obtain an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management. Students must complete 23 additional college credit hours.
