For more than 50 years, FlightSafety International has been meeting the training needs of pilots around the world. From novice pilots to seasoned professionals, all of the pilots who have trained with FlightSafety are part of a strong tradition - a tradition rich in excellence and discipline.

The Academy at Vero Beach has been dedicated to the training of future aviation professionals and has for five decades provided flight instruction - from the FAA Private Pilot License through the ATP Certificate - in the ideal environment of Florida’s central east coast. We have also just received approval through ACCSCT for 3 new advanced airline training courses as well to increase skills of pilots who possess their Commercial Instrument Multi-Engine Certificate.

It is an exciting time at our Academy in Vero Beach. The demand for FlightSafety Academy trained pilots is at an all time high! We now have nearly 100 aircraft and a steady flow of approximately 450 students training and living on our campus. We have taken delivery of 20 new Piper Seminoles. The new seminoles are equipped with the new Garmin 430 avionics. Services available through the Career Placement office assists cadets with the vital first steps in their careers.
