Learn to Fly a Clipper 1
HDW Helicopters, is proud to introduce N3112T. This 2006 Robinson R44 Clipper I, is equipped with utility floats.

The R44 Clipper I, is based on a Raven I model which has received upgrades : basically a better resistance to the marine environment, and, of course, utility floats. Pilots already familiar with R44s, will notice very few differences. However, the handling, servicing, maintenance, survival equipment familiarization and requirements, demands additional knowledge and aeronautical experience.

HDW Helicopters, offers a program that will allow you to operate this aircraft safely during "basic" operations. These operations will include flying with utility floats, landing, taxiing and taking off fresh water

The course is available for Pilots already certified with the FAA in a Rotorcraft/Helicopter.

The course will include two hours of ground instruction and two hours of aeronautical experience.

Maximum seat weight for training in the Clipper I is 260 Lbs.
