Aviation Private Pilot Private Pilot Possibilities: • Fly with family and friends within the United States and beyond. • Own and fly a helicopter for pleasure or business. Limitations of a Private Pilot License: • Flying for hire or compensation requires at least a Commercial License. • Flying must be done with good visual reference to the ground unless you have an Instrument Rating. Private Pilot General Requirements: • Be a least 17 year old. • Pass a written test. • Written endorsement from your Flight Instructor. • Log 40 hours of flight time, of which at least 20 hours are flight training with a Certified Flight Instructor, and additional requirements for night, cross country, etc. Commercial PilotCommercial Pilot Possibilities: • Fly for hire or compensation. Commercial Pilot General Requirements: • Be at least 18 years old. • Pass a written test and medical exam. • Written endorsements from your Flight Instructor. • Log a total of 150 hours flight time including 50 helicopters, plus additional time in Command, Cross Country, basic Instrument time, etc. Additional Information • Discounts available for flight time purchased in blocks of 10 hours or more. • Complete in house financing available pilot licenses. • Pilot Examiner on staff.
