Program Description: The Aviation Maintenance Technology program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare students to work in the field of aviation maintenance. Learning opportunities develop academic, technical, and the professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of aircraft maintenance theory and practical application necessary for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification and successful employment.

Aircraft Structural Technology

Program Description: The Aircraft Structural Technology program combines aircraft sheet metal theory and skills with practical experience to prepare the graduate for successful entry-level employment, job retention, and advancement in the manufacture and repair fields. Pneumatic drilling and riveting, patching and repairing aircraft structures, inspecting and diagnosing aircraft damage, cutting and forming aircraft metals, flight control systems, advance composite and honeycomb structures are covered.

Middle Georgia College is a state college unit of the University System of Georgia accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the Associate of Arts degree, Associate of Science degree, Associate of Applied Science degree, and select Bachelor of Science degrees.
