Michigan UAS Training - NMC

Welcome to NMC Aviation’s Unmanned Aircraft Program

Northwestern Michigan College's Unmanned Aircraft Systems program is designed to prepare students for employment as external operators in the UAS profession. Training also includes fundamental instruction and hands-on experience with unmanned aircraft structures, electronic flight controls, autopilot principles, and command and control. Federal Regulations of UAS, airspace restrictions, and Certificate of Authorization procedures are also addressed.

Facilities

Our classes and UAS lab are taught in our large, modern facility at the Aero Park Campus at Cherry Capital Airport (KTVC) in Traverse City, Michigan.
