Professional Pilot Training Program 0-1000hrs

1000hrs + total time

The Professional Pilot Program includes Private, Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, Commercial Pilot Single and Multi Engine, Certified Flight Instructor Rating, Certified Flight Instructor Multi Engine, Certified Flight Instructor Instrument UNLIMITED MULTI ENGINE TIME. This program is designed to enable a zero time pilot to obtain a Private and Commercial License with Instrument and Multi-Engine Ratings together with Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) and Certified Multi engine Instructor (MEI). Upon completion, the Commercial Pilot /CFI will have the option to work as a Flight Instructor in single and Multi engine aircraft up to 1000hrs.This valuable experience is required to obtain a position as First Officer with our corresponding Airlines at the time of completion. The 30 week program can include housing for the duration of the course after which housing is available on a month to month basis. The housing is located within walking distance of the school.

This 474 clock hour program includes up to 260 hours flight training, of which 129 hours are dual flight instruction, 104hours are directed solo practice and 12 hours are provided for FAA Practical Examinations. There are 120 hours of formal class room ground school including 60 hours provided for one-on-one ground instruction with each student’s assigned flight instructor for specialized briefings, preflight briefings and post-flight briefings. Training is conducted under FAA 141 and 61 regulations.

Non-Federal Financial Aid in the form of education loans and VA benefits are available to those who qualify and employment placement assistance is available. On successful completion of this program the student will have the option to join the Professional flight instructor team and enjoy working as a ’line’ flight instructor. International Students will require the J1 Visa in order to work in the United States after completing the CFI.

• Eighteen years of age
• Other prerequisites as listed for all students earlier in this site
• Successful CFI Candidates would expect to fly 100hrs/month

Training begins in Kissimmee, FL at ACA’s Orlando Flight Training facility. Students will acheive their FAA Private Pilot, Instrument Rating and Commercial Multi-Engine Certificate in only 5 months. The course includes 250 hours of flight and Airline General Systems Ground Training (focusing on hydraulics, pressurization, electrical systems and Airline Crew Concepts) - all taught by active or retired airline pilots. Central Florida’s weather is ideal for flight training with over 350 flyable days per year! Orlando Flight Training is located at the Kissimmee Gateway Airport in the heart of Orlando’s tourist district near Disneyworld, Universal Studios and Sea World.
