This method of flight training provides graduates the opportunity to be airline ready two years before most traditional pilot schools. Certificates and ratings that can be achieved in the Associate of Applied Science Professional Pilot Program are: * Private Pilot Certificate * Instrument Rating * Multi-Engine Rating * Commercial Pilot Certificate * Certified Flight Instructor * Certified Flight Instructor Instrument Rating Spartan’s flight training and instruction are comprehensive, covering every topic and skill necessary to be a safe and qualified pilot. The instructors ensure that the pilot training given covers all material that is required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). After completion of the pilot program associate’s degree, graduates can enroll in Spartan’s Bachelor of Science Aviation Management Program and complete their bachelor’s degree in as little as 17 months. Pilot School Facilities Spartan’s pilot training program is located on a tower-controlled airport with dual runways. The flight school maintains a fleet of approximately fifty aircraft including Cessna 152’s, 172’s and 172 RGs for advanced complex pilot training. Piper Seminoles are used for multi-engine pilot training and three Frasca flight-training simulators are used in training as well. The pilot school program is designed specifically for the career-oriented pilot.
