As a Cessna Pilot Center and using a state of the art training curriculum produced by King Schools with Cessna, flight instruction with Tailwind is streamlined, professional, and efficient. Tailwind uses the King Schools Cessna Pilot Center computer based instruction to maximize a students learning. Students using this curriculum have shown a 25 - 30% reduction in the time it takes to complete their license.

Whether you a re learning to fly for recreation or are interested in pursuing a career in aviation, Tailwind Flight Center can help you attain your dream. We are an FAA Part 61 flight school, which allows us to structure your training around you and your schedule. It is possible to fly as often as you desire.

Tailwind Flight Center offers flight instruction from a sport pilot or private pilot license through your airline transport pilot license (ATP). We have many experienced, professional, and safety conscious instructors available to meet your learning and scheduling needs.

Tailwind Flight Center is proud to bring advanced simulation training to northeast Wisconsin. Tailwind Flight Center is committed to safe training and state of the art technology which is why we invested in the Redbird Flight Simulator FMX. Through Tailwind’s partnership with Cessna and Redbird Simulators, we will offer advanced flight training with our Redbird FMX full motion simulator in a variety of advanced aircraft. Pilots can train in a new G1000 Glass Cockpit C172, a Piper Arrow for complex training, and a Piper Seminole for advanced multi engine training.
