Texas flight schools
The US Dept. of Labor is predicting a shortage of Airline Pilots through 2014. Now is the time to launch your aviation career. US Flight Academy can guide you through the process from Zero time to a career pilot in the shortest time possible.

Our reputation in the aviation industry combined with our experienced staff, modern aircraft fleet, proven training methods, and partnerships with regional airlines will get the results you are looking for.

What Are The Steps And How Long Will It Take?

The process of getting an airline job has never been easier. There are two requirements necessary for getting the first job:

1. Get your pilots licenses and ratings
2. Build some flying experience

US Flight Academy can help you with both of these steps. Step one, getting your licenses through our Professional Pilot Training program will take 5 to 8 months depending on your schedule and availability. Step two you will need to obtain 200 to 400 hours of flight time experience. The quickest and most affordable way to get these hours is to become a flight instructor. Our flight instructors usually can build this time in 4 to 5 months. This means in as little as 9 months you can be in the front seat of a regional airline.
