Universal Online/Classroom FAA Dispatch Course

Online aircraft dispatcher training

Universal's Online/Classroom FAA Dispatch Course

Get the training you need to enhance your career - with more flexibility in your schedule and budget.

Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc. now offers our FAA-certified Aircraft Dispatcher training course with a travel-saving online component.

Through The Learning House, Inc., you'll complete most of your work online, from the comfort of your home. Then, spend only two weeks at the Universal® Workforce Development Center to finish classes and complete FAA exams.

Whether you choose the new online/on-site hybrid or the traditional six-week on-site version, Universal's course will give you the real-world knowledge you need to handle a flight department. We incorporate real-life simulations, using flight planning and weather systems that immerse students in a realistic dispatcher environment. You'll understand the importance of teamwork and disseminating flight information to everyone involved in a flight.

Universal received official approval from the FAA in early 2007 to offer the Aircraft Dispatcher Training Courses, after successfully graduating all students in the pilot program from the specially modified course.

This is the only program of its kind that provides you with:

* Specialized corporate aviation knowledge from international business aviation experts
* Hands-on practice using real-life simulations, incorporating flight planning and weather systems in a fully functioning flight operations center

This training program, designed to immerse participants in the dispatcher curriculum over six weeks, culminates in a series of written and practical exams administered by the FAA.
Additional information

We are now accepting registrations for new course attendees. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis; additional instructors are brought in as needed to ensure one-on-one attention. Reservations can be made for courses up to 12 months in advance, and the current complete program fee is $4,000 (not including lodging and meals).
