The Aeronautics-Pilot Training program prepares individuals for entry level employment in the air transportation industry. The most common entry level position is as a flight instructor, where a graduate will work and accrue flight hours toward later jobs as charter, regional, or major airline pilots for the transportation of passengers, freight and mail, and other purposes. As a pilot, you must maintain Federal Aviation Administration certificates and ratings consistent with regulations governing the type of aircraft being piloted.
