Flight Schools for International Students
The majority of flight and helicopter schools in the U.S.A. do not accept students from other countries, so finding a school can take time. Our international flight training schools section takes the guesswork out of finding the right school for you. On the following pages you'll find flight and helicopter schools that accept students from other countries. However, not all schools accept students from all countries. Look for schools that offer "package deal" training to international students. Packages usually include all training and housing, and some also include ground transportation while in flight training. Most schools will help you with obtaining student visas and any other required documents. Most international flight training schools offer both FAA and JAA training. Check with each school to make sure.
