![]() About UVU Aviation ![]() Aviation Science at Utah Valley University provides year-round aviation education at the collegiate level. Student pilots can earn a bachelor or associate degree via online and traditional course delivery methods, while receiving flight training at one of the largest flight schools in the nation. Our modern aircraft fleet, experienced faculty, and professional flight instructors have helped us establish an impressive safety record and high job placement rate. Degrees are offered through technology-enhanced traditional classroom and innovative online delivery methods. Simulations and flight training are integrated with scholarly work to create a complete and well-balanced aeronautics program. The curriculum is developed through ties with industry to incorporate changing standards in technology and procedural advances. UVU Aviation Program ![]() The UVU Aviation Science Program is one of the largest aviation programs in the United States, with over 2,000 students enrolled, and has received national awards from the University Continuing Education Association for our innovate quality curriculum and student support system. Located near the Wasatch Mountains, many students choose UVU for its ideal location. Others come for access to a dynamic economy, employment and career opportunities. Within 20 miles, students enjoy winter sports, hiking, mountain biking, water recreation and more. Degree Programs Offered at UVU Utah Valley University offers both 2-year Associate and 4-year Bachelor degree options in Aviation Science: - Bachelor Professional Pilot - Bachelor of Aviation Administration - Associate in Applied Science Professional Pilot - Associate in Science Professional Pilot Fleet ![]() The UVU flight line consists of all Diamond Aircraft. Currently the fleet consists of 15 Katana DA-20, 6 Diamond Star DA-40, and 4 Twin Star DA-42. Diamond builds the safest, most efficient training aircraft flying today.
